Placement of the direct object pronoun The direct object pronoun will come directly before the conjugated verb. (**) –Mi profesor ensena la clase. Mi profesor la ensena. –Ellos comen los tacos. Ellos los comen. –Tu quieres jugar al ajedrez. Tu lo quieres jugar. ** Tu quieres jugarlo.

Say What??? You can also attach the direct object pronoun to an infinitive or a present participle. (as we saw in the last example on the previous slide.) –Ella esta leyendo el libro. Ella lo esta leyendo. Ella esta leyendolo. –Nosotros vamos a estudiar las palabras. Nosotros las vamos a estudiar. Nosotros vamos a estudiarlas.

Practicamos Translate the sentence. Then replace the direct object with the pronoun by placing the pronoun in front of the verb.
