Kevin got a skateboard for his eighth birthday. He is now learning to ride it. He knows one trick right now. The trick he knows is ollie. Today he is going to his friend Mikes house. Kevin recibió una patineta para el octavo grado. El esta aprendiendo a usar la patineta. Sabe hacer un truco. El truco se llama ollie. Hoy Kevin va a la casa de Mike.

Mike has a skateboard too. He also has a small halfpipe in his backyard. When Kevin gets to Mikes house, Mike and Kevin practice riding their skateboards together. When it gets dark Kevin goes home and Mike goes inside his house. The next day Kevin meets Mike at the skate park. Mike tiene una patineta también, el tiene una llanta/tubo en patio trasero. Cuando Kevin llega a la casa de Mike, ellos se ponen a practicar con sus patinetas. Cuando llega la noche Kevin se va a su casa y Mike se entra a la del. El día siguiente Kevin se encuentra con Mike en el parque de patinaje.

I have a new trick to show you, said Mike. Its kickflip! After Mike shows Kevin kickflip, they practice and practice it. Afterwards they go home. Tengo un nuevo truco para enseñarte dijo Mike. Es un papirotazo con la patineta. Después que Mike se lo enseño a Kevin, los dos practicaron el papirotazo con la patineta. Después se van a la casa.

As time passes Kevin and Mike learn new tricks. They decide they want to make a skateboard show in Mikes backyard. El tiempo va pasando y los dos aprenden mas trucos. Ahora están listos para tener una exposición de patinaje en el patio de Mike.

First, they invite everyone they know, then they make a place for everybody, and they also make snacks for those who go to the show. Finally when the obstacles are set up, they start the show. Kevin and Mike start with a 360 ollie. Primero invitan a todos sus amigos, después hacen un lugar para todos y también prepara golosinas para el show. Finalmente cuando los obstáculos están colocados, el show empieza. Kevin y Mike empiezan el show haciendo un ollie de 360 Grados.

Then they do a nose grind, a tail grab, an invert, and lots of other tricks. After the show is done, everyone claps for Kevin and Mike. After that, everybody goes home. Después hacen algo llamado nose grind, otro truco llamado agarrado de la cola, y Mucho otros trucos. Después de que el show se apaga, todos los espectadores aplauden a Kevin y a Mike. Después todo el mundo se va a casa.

The next day at school, everyone says to him and Mike, You were awesome! Al día siguiente, todos los alumnos de la escuela les dijeron: Estuvieron increíbles!
