Comparativo y superlativo Comparing people and things

Comparativo: used to compare people or things Use Más + adjectivo + que (like adding an “er” to an adjective in English) EJ: Ella es más alta que su hermano. She is taller than her brother.

Superlativo: used to mean “the most” Use the definite article (el, la, los, las) + más + adjectivo + de (like adding “est” to an adjective in English) EJ: Ella es la persona más alta de todos. She is the tallest person of everyone.

Irregular Comparatives Hay comparativos irregulares también. bueno (a)(s)  mejor(es)  el, la, los, las mejor(es) EJ. María es la mejor jugadora del equipo. malo(a)(s) peor(es)  el, la, los, las peor(es)

Irregular Comparatives Use mayor and menor when speaking about AGE. mayor = older menor = younger EJ. Yo soy mayor que mi hermana. I am older than my sister.
