3 Superlatives  In English, Superlatives are when we use adjectives with an “est” as a suffix.  For example, the fastest runner, the tallest girl, etc.

4 Superlatives  Memorize this formula:  el/la/los/las + noun + más/menos+ adjective

5 Superlatives  el/la/los/las + noun + más/menos+ adjective  This formula is used to say that someone is “the most” or “the least” of a group.

6 Superlatives  For example,  La foto de mi familia es la posesión más importante para mi.

7 Superlatives  Los colores más bonitos  In Spanish, it says “the colors most pretty.”  In English we would say, “the prettiest colors” with “est.”

8 Superlatives  To say that someone is “the best” or “the worst” we use el/la mejor and el /la peor. These come before the noun.

9 Superlatives  Pienso que Gonzalo Ochoa es el mejor estudiante.  Also, for example, “el peor estudiante,” “la mejor niña”
