MÁS + (ADJECTIVE) + QUE MORE (ADJECTIVE) THAN Ejemplos: Esta camiseta es más bonita que esa camiseta. This t-shirt is prettier than that t-shirt. Esas botas son más caras que estas botas. Those boots are more expensive than these boots.

11 MENOS + (ADJECTIVE) + QUE
LESS (ADJECTIVE) THAN Ejemplos: Esta camiseta es menos cara que esa camiseta. This t-shirt is less expensive than that t-shirt. Mi madre es menos seria que mi padre. My mom is less serious than my dad.

12 TAN + (ADJECTIVE) + COMO
AS (ADJECTIVE) AS Ejemplos: Sra. Okray es tan inteligente como Sra. Hatfield. Mrs. Okray is as intelligent as Mrs. Hatfield. Mi hermano es tan alto como mi padre. My brother is as tall as my dad.

Ejemplos: I like this shirt more than that shirt. Me gusta esta camiseta más que esa camiseta. I like this shirt more than that one. Me gusta esta camiseta más que ésa. Those boots are more expensive than these. Esas botas son más caras que éstas.

Simply drop the noun! Me gusta esta blusa más que esa blusa. Add a accent mark over the “e” éste, ésta, éstos, éstas ése, ésa, ésos, ésas aquél, aquélla, aquéllos, aquéllas Me gusta esta blusa más que ésa.

19 Comparing actions (Verbs)
Use más que, menos que, and tanto como Verb goes first Ejemplos: Mi padre cocina más que mi madre. My dad cooks more than my mom. Las chicas hablan menos que los chicos. The girls talk less than the boys. Mi profesora escribe tanto como los estudiantes. My teacher writes as much as the students.
