2 Comparisons Antes...Remember we learned how to make comparisons. We use comparatives to say something is more or less than something else. We use these phrases… more…than más + adj. + que  less…than menos + adj. + que

3 Superlatives Hoy…Today we are going to learn how to use the superlative. We use the superlative to say something has the most or the least of a certain quality.

4 Superlatives El Los La las We use these phrases… definite article noun
most definite article noun más / menos adjective least El Los La las

5 Superlatives To use a noun with the superlative form, place it after the article. Ejemplos: Luis is the tallest boy. Luis es el chico más alto. Sofía is the least athletic girl. Sofía es la chica menos deportista.

6 Superlatives Luis es el más alto. Sofía es la menos deportista.
You can also form the superlative without using a noun. Ejemplos: Luis is the tallest. Luis es el más alto. Sofía is the least athletic. Sofía es la menos deportista.
