2 Superlatives In English, Superlatives are when we use adjectives with an “est” as a suffix. For example, the fastest runner, the tallest girl, etc.

3 Superlatives Memorize this formula:
el / la / los / las + noun + más / menos + adjective

4 Superlatives This formula is used to say that someone or something is “the most” or “the least” when compared to two or more people or things.

5 Superlatives For example,
La foto de mi familia es la posesión más importante para mi.

6 Superlatives Los colores más bonitos
In Spanish, it says “the colors most pretty.” In English we would say, “the prettiest colors” with “est.”

7 Superlatives To say that someone is “the best” or “the worst” we use el / la mejor and el / la peor. These come before the noun.

8 To say that someone is “the oldest” or “the youngest” we use el / la mayor and el / la menor. These come before the noun.
