Affirmative Informal Commands To tell someone you know to do something, you use an affirmative informal command. To form the affirmative informal command of a regular or stem-changing verb, follow this step: Drop the final s off the end of the tú form Examples: Hablas habla you speak SPEAK! Comes come you eat EAT! pides pide you ask (for) ASK FOR IT!
Affirmative IRREGULAR Informal Commands Some verbs have irregular informal command forms. You MUST memorize these following commands: Irregular Commands: venir ven (COME!) tener ten (HAVE!) salir sal (GO OUT!) poner pon (PUT!) hacer haz (DO/MAKE!) ser sé (BE!) decir di (TELL!) ir ve (GO!)
