3 + Tú Commands There are 8 verbs that have irregular tú command forms. tener – ten venir - ven poner - pon

4 + Tú Commands salir - sal hacer – haz decir - di ser – sé ir - ve

5 + Tú Commands Pronouns are attached Watch out for accents! Do it! (la tarea) ¡Hazla! Buy them! (los zapatos) ¡Cómpralos! Tell it me! (el secreto) ¡Dímelo!

6 + Tú Commands When you are making a tú command with reflexive verbs be sure to always use “te” because these are “tú” commands. Get up! (levantarse) ¡Levántate!

7 - Tú Commands To form a negative tú command you have three steps. 1) Take the “yo” form of the present tense verb. 2) Drop the “o” 3) Add opposite endings. For -ar verbs,add -es. For -er/-ir verbs add -as.

8 - Tú Commands ¡No te olvides de hacer la tarea! ¡ No cocines el pollo todavía! ¡No te portes mal!

9 - Tú Commands There are 3 spelling changes that occur before adding the opposite ending. -gar verbs, change g  gu jugar: ¡No juegues! -car verbs, change c  qu tocar: ¡No toques! -zar verbs, change z  c cruzar: ¡No cruces!

10 - Tú Commands There are 5 verbs that have irregular negative tú command forms. ir – ¡No vayas! ser – ¡No seas! estar – ¡No estés! dar – ¡No des! saber – ¡No sepas!

11 - Tú Commands Pronouns always come before negative tú commands. Don’t do it! (la tarea) ¡No la hagas! Don’t buy them! (los zapatos) ¡No los compres! Don’t get up! (levantarse) ¡No te levantes! Don’t tell it me! (el secreto) ¡No me lo digas!
