Pronombres The direct object is the word in the sentence that receives the action of the verb. The quaterback throws the football to the reciever. What is recieving the action?

Pronombres The direct object pronoun replaces the noun. The pronoun must agree with the noun its replacing. They can replace either a person or a thing.

Pronombres English example The quaterback throws the football to the reciever. The quaterback throws it to the reciever.

Pronombres Ejemplo 1: Ella compró el bañador. Ella lo compró. Note the direct object pronoun comes right before the verb.
