3 Every verb has 2 parts: STEM + ENDING Hablar = habl-
The stem is the infinitive minus the infinitive ending –ar, -er, or -ir Hablar = habl- Practicar = practi- Estudiar = estudi- Trabajar = trabaj- Cocinar = cocin- Mirar = mir- Escuchar = escuch- Jugar = jug- Presentar = present- Comprar = compr- + AR

STEM Verb ending -o -as -a -amos -áis -an
