Wow, how time flies. As we return from Spring Break, we focus on TAKS. In the upcoming month our main focus will definitely be on passing the TAKS in reading and math. Remember I tutor after school until 4:30 on Mondays and Tuesdays. I’m confident we will ALL be successful. I am very aware this time can be very stressing for the children (and teachers). That is why we planned our trip to the Fort Worth Zoo and animal projects for this time. It gives the students a bit if a break. Also, the past few weeks you may have noticed a new face with our class. Miss Lake is a student teacher that will teaching with us until mid-April. Please make her feel welcome as always. Lastly, I would like to remind parents that encourage you to always keep in contact with me if problems arise. These final weeks of school can become very difficult for maturing third graders. My door is always open.
