Week of March 20th-24th  Upcoming Events April 5th: Field Trip – Catawba Science Center April 6th: Report Cards April 14th-23rd: Spring Break The Teacher’s Scoop! Dear Parents, I hope everyone had a great weekend! This week we practiced telling and writing time, wrote about “How to catch a Leprechaun,” practiced our handwriting, etc. What We Are Learning Next Week Spelling Words: kind, old, child, climb, most, find, hold, mild, both, roll, himself, look, wind Sentences: 1. Look at the wind blowing the trees. 2. Mr. I did not mind standing by himself. The Spelling Test will be on Friday!  Reading: Authors Purpose Daily 5: Writing about “How Plants Grow“, continuing Guided Reading Groups, Word Work, and Read to Self LetterLand: Syllables and understanding spoken words and sounds (phonemes) Math: Quarter Review Ksgiving WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK Star Student of the Week Snack Reminder Monday – Jeffrey Tuesday – Amelia Wednesday – Nicholas Thursday – Abby Friday – Maria On your child’s snack day, please send enough snacks for 21 students. Queridos padres, espero que todos hayan tenido un gran fin de semana! Esta semana tenemos practica diciendo y escribiendo el tiempo, escribió acerca de "Cómo atrapar un duende," practicó nuestra escritura, etcetera.
