Instructions: Write an essay comparing your family to your project family Step 1: Write about your project family in SPANISH Name, Age, Description (3 adjectives) Tip: It’s already on your presentation! Step 2: Write about YOUR actual family in Spanish Pick 4 family members and 2 friends Name, Age, Relationship to YOU, and Description (3 adjectives) Tip: You did this already!!!! Step 3: In English, you may talk about how your family is similar/different to your TV family. Are there any changes you wish you could make? Would you rather have the project family or your real family? *This paragraph must have a minimum of 6 complete sentences*

Do this on a Word/Google document and turn in along with your presentation. I will be the ONLY one to read this. I will average the 2 grades together for your final grade. Don’t be lazy and half-do it. It will REALLY hurt your grade!!

Paragraph 1 La familia de Fresh Prince es muy grande. El se llama Will y tiene 16 años. Will es alto, moreno, y muy gracioso. Su tío se llama Philip Banks. Philip tiene 40 años. Tío Phil es rico, gordo, y antipático. Su tía se llama Vivian. Vivian tiene 39 años. Ella es alta, flaca, y muy bonita. Su prima mayor se llama Hilary Banks. Ella tiene 21 años. Ella es bonita, morena, y perezosa. Su primo se llama Carlton Banks. Carlton tiene 16 años. Él es bajo, inteligente, y débil. Su mejor amigo se llama Jazz. Jazz tiene 19 años. Él es gracioso, perezoso, y flaco. Su novia se llama Lisa. Lisa tiene 21 años. Ella es flaca, bonita, y simpática.

Paragraph 2 Mi familia es pequeña. Hay 5 personas en mi familia. Mi padre se llama Clyde Sr. Él está muerto (he is dead)  . Él es alto, simpático, y fuerte. Mi madre se llama Donna. Paragraph 3 The Fresh Prince family is VERY different from my real family. Will lives with his aunt, uncle, and cousins and I’ve always lived with my immediate family. I haven’t really seen my aunts and uncles in a long time due to school and teaching. A goal for this year will be to see more of my family this year and that my grandmother will live to see 91. If there were some things I could change, I wish that my family hadn’t moved away from Virginia. In Florida, we were very far away from my grandparents, aunt, and uncles. I always wish my father hadn’t died of a heart attack when I was very young. I miss him every day. If I had to choose between Will’s family and my own family, I would choose my own family. We are crazy and dysfunctional, but strong and loving people. I only wish we were rich like the Banks so that I could travel more and not worry about bills. But I also know that with more money come more problems.
