¿Qué son? En inglés: Possessive adjectives tell you who owns something or describe a relationship between people or things. The forms of possessive adjectives do not change in English, but they do change in Spanish. What do you think they change in relation to?

REMEMBER!!! In Spanish, possessive adjectives agree in number with the nouns they describe.

yo mi/ mis my nosotros/as nuestro(a/o)/ nuestros(as/os) our tú tu/ tus your (fam.) vosotros/as vuestro(a/o)/ vuestros(as/os)  your (informal, plural) él, ella, Ud. su  sus his/ hers/ your (formal) ellos, ellas, Uds. su their, your (formal, plural)

5 ALSO REMEMBER!!! Nuestro(a) and vuestro(a) must agree in number AND GENDER with the nouns they describe.

A: NO! The ‘s is NEVER used. To show possession we use the word and the that refers to the owner/possesor When showing possession the thing(noun) will come first followed by de then the name of the person it belongs to. de noun
