Comparativo y Superlativo Comparing people & things In English when we describe things, we use words like ‘good’ or ‘fast’. But when we have 2 ‘good’ or fast’ things, we use Comparatives to describe which is ‘better or faster’. We put –er on the end of short adjectives and you use more before long adjectives. * She is taller than her brother * She is also more intelligent than her brother. 2. To form the comparative in Spanish, we put más before the adjective or adverb and que after it. * Ella es más alta que su hermano. * Y también es más inteligente que su hermano.

3. The Superlatives show which is the ‘best’ or ‘fastest’ 3. The Superlatives show which is the ‘best’ or ‘fastest’. They show what is “the most.” To form the superlative in English, you add –est to short adjectives and place most before long adjectives. She is the nicest person of all.
