Present Progressive In English, when we are express something that we are doing in the moment, we use a “to be” verb and then we add “-ing” to the end of the word/activity. Examples: I am singing. You are running. He is sitting. We are dancing. Y’all are eating. They are playing.

Present Progressive, cont’d In Spanish, it is the same concept. We start with a “to be” verb (estar), but instead of adding “-ing” to the end of the word… -ar verbs: jugar  jugando; hablar  hablando -er/-ir verbs: Comer  comiendo; vivir  viviendo
