¿Me gustaría invitarte a… (I would like to invite you to…)
You are going to write an invitation to a friend, creating a card that you might send in the mail. Label the front “Una invitación”. Include a date in Spanish format. Address it to a friend (real or imaginary). You can say “¿Me gustaría invitarte a…?” to start off. Say what you are GOING to do (4 things at least), where, when, with who, and why. “Responde muy pronto, por favor” can be the last line. Un abrazo is used as “Sincerely”. Your name.
