2 Verb Infinitives Verbs are words that are most often used to name actions Buzz Lightyear through the air. flies The basic, default form of the verb is called the INFINITIVE This is the form of the verb that you find if you look in the dictionary.

3 In English, you can spot an infinitive because it usually has the word in front of it.

4 R Infinitives in Spanish, though, do not have a separate word.
Spanish infinitives are only one word and always end in R WHEN DISCUSSING ACTIVITIES THAT YOU LIKE TO DO YOU NEED TO USE THE VERB “GUSTAR” FOLLOWED BY A VERB INFINITIVE
