  Surrealism: Movement that surged in the 1920s that makes relations with the unconscious its goal is to make products that have real things but that are put together in a different context making it look like a not realistic painting that contains real elements on it.  Salvador Dali Salvador Domingo Felipe Jacinto Dalí i Domènech, 1st Marqués de Dalí de Pubol (May 11, 1904 – January 23, 1989), known as Salvador Dali, was a prominent Spanish surrealist painter born in Figueres, Spain. Dali was a skilled draftsman, best known for the striking and bizarre images in his surrealist work. His painterly skills are often attributed to the influence of Renaissance masters. His best-known work, The Persistence of Memory, was completed in Dalí's expansive artistic repertoire included film, sculpture, and photography, in collaboration with a range of artists in a variety of media.  Fernando Maldonado Fernando Maldonado es un pintor, escultor e ilustrador nacido en Colombia en Su obra tiene raíces surrealistas y expresionistas y retoma algunos elementos de la ilustración fantástica. Maldonado ha desarrollado un universo figurativo donde el asombro es protagónico. Su obra contempla unas fases determinadas: Anunciaciones, mundo mágico, lo interpictórico, el clima urbano y los oráculos íntimos; fundamentales caminos de su fulgor creativo. Sus personajes chamánicos, sus peces levitantes y el uso irónico que hace de las obras maestras del arte contemporáneo, constituyen improntas particulares de su propuesta estética. En 2006 apareció su libro Fernando Maldonado, Tiempos paralelos, (publicado por Intergráficas, Bogotá, Colombia), donde se recoge numerosa obra suya de sus series más reconocidas: Anunciaciones, Chamanismo, Surrealismo, Otras realidades...  Appropriation My appropriation is a mix of two paintings of two famous surrealist artists first one we can see Maldonado’s Mar De La Conciencia and at the left middle part we can see Dali’s Butterfly Ship some of the elements are the use of colors, lines and perspective in some objects such as the car or the ship

  I choose this Vanguard because it’s a very interesting art movement that is infinite and full of imagination and has a lot of relation to the not realistic things and the unconscious that can make very good products that sometimes doesn’t make any sense at all.  Reflections Last quarter I didn’t made a very good result with my project I did mediocre works and my concentration wasn’t good as well so without paying attention I did my job wrong and got a bad grade My improvements are full concentration and manage of time because without both of them the results of your work won’t be good.
