When you are talking about an activity you like to do you write in Spanish: Me gusta practicar deportes. Soy deportista. Me ________ tocar la guitarra. Soy _________________ No me _______ leer. No soy _____________________. Según mi familia soy ________________. Describe your friend and fill in the blank the best you can. Remember that we use the expression “le gusta” for either male or female and means she likes or he likes Le gusta mucho practicar deportes. Es ________________. Le gusta pasar tiempo con amigos. Es sociable. (this is neutral or both male or female) No le gusta trabajar. Es perezoso/perezosa. (depends if it is a guy or a girl)

Homework for next class. Finish page handouts about particularly about order of sentences. Look at pg62 “Gramatica on word order: Placement of adjectives.  Review all your vocabulary pg 70. You can use many of these expressions next week.  You will be writing in class Monday a description about yourself and a friend first as a draft for a summative. You can use part of the oral presentation you did for Ch 1A. You can use the adjectives you have used for your poem or the graphic organizers you have done in class.  Once you are done with the draft. You will make a power point presentation of the same thing. This should be done Monday in class. Of course you can start now once I give you the rubric.  On Tuesday will be presentations. This is your summative for ch 1B. I will send you the rubric tomorrow Friday..
