Learning Target I will be able to identify the 2 major ways of reproduction, along with the advantages and disadvantages to different reproductive strategies and understand the function of reproduction.

SimpleVS.Complex a simple organism is a living thing which is made up of very few cells. Also, there are no specialized tissues, or organs. For example a human is a complex organism because we have many cells which work together carrying out different functions. An amoeba is an example of a simple organism because it is unicellular (just made up of one cell). It does not have organs or a circulatory system like humans do which would make it a complex organism Complex organisms have specialized tissues, such as nerves, organs or flowers. In contrast, simple organisms, such as amoeba or yeast, exist as a single cell. Larger organisms tend to have more specialized cells than smaller ones.

Simple Organisms Amoeba They live in water- ponds, lakes, streams. They are in the protist kingdom Paramecium Some protists are complex one-celled organisms!

Simple or complex organism?

What is a Protist? AKA: Proctista Protists are organisms in the kingdom Protista. These organisms are eukaryotes, meaning they are made up of single or multiple cells which all contain a nucleus enclosed by a membrane. The protists are a diverse group of eukaryotes that cannot be classified as animals, plants, or fungi.

Kingdoms Hay 6 reinos : plantas, animales, protistas, arqueobacterias, eubacterias, hongos

Prokaryotes vs. Eukaryotes Draw a Venn diagram, and as you watch, fill in your circles. w8https:// w8 (spanish)
