3 El Calendario  I ntroduce yourself.  Say where you are from.  Say the date.  Say today  Say what tomorrow is  Say what yesterday was  Say what the season is.  El tiempo hace frio y está nublado.  Welcome the class (Bienvenidos a la clase de español )

4 Actividad de la tarea.  Share your translation with your partner. See if what you wrote and what he/she wrote matches. If not, talk about what changes need to be made.

8 El Cuento del Gato  Hay un chico que se llama Pablo. Pablo quiere tener ocho gatos. Pablo vive en las montañas de California. A Pablo no le gustan los elefantes. Prefiere los gatos.  El chico va a hablar con el presidente de los gatos de Wyoming porque no hay muchos gatos en California. Necesita hablar con el presidente de los gatos. El presidente tiene un elefante pero no tiene un gato.  El chico va a Australia. Necesita hablar con el vice presidente de los gatos en Australia. Hay muchos gatos en Australia. A Pablo le dan ocho gatos y está muy contento.

9 La Tarea  Draw a storyboard about the story. You need to have at least 4 pictures in your storyboard and each picture needs to have a caption that will retell the story.  When it is complete. Share the story with 2 family members. Have them sign your paper and make a comment  You might want to have your vocabulary sheet out so you can teach your family members the vocabulary.

Be sure your homework from last class period is complete.  3. Practice song Juan Paco Pedro de la Mar  4. Come into Profa.’s room and complete the district assessment.  5. Come get the new unit introduction paper.  5. Read and practice the story. El Cuento de gatos.  6. Complete your homework for today.  7. Write and answer 5 questions that you have practiced. (Bring those into to Profa to receive your participation points.)
