 Connect a noun (or a pronoun) + a noun (or a pronoun)  ¿Quién es María? Who is Maria?  Ella es María.  María es mi amiga. Let’s translate the last two sentences into English.

 In each of the statements on the previous slides, you saw some adjectives in Spanish!  Adjectives are words that describe nouns, and enable you to give your writing and speaking more “color.”  Adjectives in Spanish are a little bit different from Adjectives in English, and we’re going to save the proper lesson on adjectives for a later date.
