Estar con preposiciones The verb ESTAR is used to express the location of places. (Remember: How you feel and where you are, always use the verb ESTAR!) Ejemplos: 1. La profesora está muy cerca de los estudiantes. 2. Mi libro está adentro de mi mochila. 3. Los marcadores están al lado de la pizarra.
En mi ciudad Objectives: 1. Create a map of your very own city/town in Spanish. 2. Describe the location of different places in your city. 3. Ask and give directions to get around your city and others. Draw, color, and label 8 buildings/locations around town. Name your city/town. Draw and label 5 streets around town. For example, Calle Amarillo. Make sure some of the streets intersect so that you will have blocks. Write 5 complete sentences that tell the location of one place to another. For example, The post office is to the right of the bank. Give directions from one building to another building across town.
