2 Instrucciones When you see the Spanish phrase, say it in Spanish out loud. Then say the translation in English out loud. Self-check when I put up the right answer. Repeat this process for all of the examples.

3 Situación 3A: La distancia ¿Está cerca o lejos? Está por aquí. Está muy cerca. Está a tres cuadras de aquí. Is it near or far? It is over here. It is very near. It is three blocks from here.

4 Situación 3A: La distancia Está a diez minutos a pie. Está lejos de aquí. Está a dos manzanas de aquí. Está a 4 millas más allá. It is ten minutes on foot. (walking) It is far from here. It is two blocks from here. It is four miles farther.
