Introducing….Primary Sources What is a primary source? (fuente primaria) A document, physical object, or artifact which was written or created during the time under study.
Examples?? Diary Journal Article/Newspaper article Original documents (i.e. the Declaration of Independence) Artwork, clothing, pottery Interview of eye witness Original photographs, videos, music, etc.
Secondary Source 2. What is a secondary source? (fuente secundaria) A secondary source interprets and analyzes primary sources. These sources are one or more steps removed from the event

Flight 11. To date, the remains of only 1,629 victims have been identified. More than 6,000 people were injured. It was the largest attack on United States soil since Pearl Harbor.
