How to help your child maintain interest in school: Talk to your child about going to school every day, on-time and ready to learn. Keep in touch with your child’s teacher all year long. Share telephone numbers and email addresses. Reinforce everything that’s being taught at school on a daily basis. Make homework a daily routine. Spend time with your children. Ask them what they learned in school that day. Help your child solve problems with peers by keeping a neutral stance. Convey your trust in his/her ability to solve the problem.
