OJALÁ QUE 1 more way to form the subjunctive… is a phrase that signals the subjunctive. It comes from an Arabic expression meaning, May Allah grant that… It now means I wish that or I hope that You can say Ojalá que sí to mean I hope so. You can say Ojalá que no to mean I hope not. Ojalá que no tengamos tarea hoy. Ojalá que yo sepa las respuestas correctas. Ojalá que mi madre sea simpática cuando recibo mis notas malas.
