Verbos The verb as it appears in the dictionary is called the infinitive In Spanish there are 3 verb endings AR (hablar – to speak) ER (comer – to eat) IR (vivir – to live) Spanish verbs are either regular 85% or irregular (do not follow the rules) 15%. Some verbs are Radical Changing – this means they follow the regular rules but they have some spelling differences
When you learn the different tenses (past, present and future), you will need to know who is the subject of the action I YOU (s) HE/SHE/IT/FORMAL (s) WE YOU (pl) THEY/YOU FORMAL (pl)

HOWEVER... In Spanish although you need to know who is doing the action you do not need to say the pronoun because the verb ending will tell you who is speaking. You can use the pronoun if you are trying to stress who is speaking (see Teacher)
