Que implica la ley? As of January 1, 2002, for purposes of tuition at ’s public colleges, undocumented youth will be treated as “residents”. Desde el 1 de Enero del 2002, con el propósito de pagar la cuota escolar y matricularse en los colegios y universidades publicas, los jóvenes inmigrantes indocumentados serán tratados como “residentes”.

Cuales son los requisitos? Attend high school in California for three or more years Graduate from a California high school or receive a GED Register as an entering student or current enrollment at an accredited college or university on or after Fall academic year File an affidavit with the school Asistir a una escuela secundaria en California por mínimo de 3 años o más. Graduarse de una escuela secundaria en California o recibir un GED. Registrarse como estudiante entrante o actualmente inscrito en una universidad acreditada.
