2 PAR Formally accessibility Plan Bulletin 2- Civil Right Compliance –Non-Discrimination Statement The El Paso Independent School District does not discriminate in its educational programs or employment practices on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, military status, or on any other basis prohibited by law. Inquiries concerning the application of Titles VI, VII, IX, and Section 504 may be referred to the District compliance officer, Vince Sheffield, at _______; Section 504 inquiries regarding students may be referred to Cecilia Whiteman at ________.

4 PAR Bulletin 2- Civil Right Compliance –Grievances The El Paso Independent School District, as part of its compliance with laws and procedures as enforced by the Office for Civil Rights and Texas Education Agency requirements, has provided for student, parents, or employees procedures that preserve the rights and responsibilities of those individuals who register concerns regarding school district procedures and actions. These procedures are outlined in District policies DGBA, FNG, and GF and are codified for the convenience of employees, students, applicants, and parents.. District administrators are required to adhere to the requirements outlined in the aforementioned policies in order to provide timely, thorough, and complete resolution of concerns, complaints, and grievances identified by policy.

5 PAR Bulletin 2- Civil Right Complaince –Grievances El Distrito Escolar Independiente de El Paso, como parte de su cumplimiento con leyes y procediemientos llevados acabo por la Oficina de los Derechos civiles y de los requisitios por la Agencia de la Educacion de Tejas, ha proporcionado a los estudiantes, padres o empleados, los procedimientos que preservan los derechos y las responsabilidades de esos individuos que registran preocupaciones con respecto a procedimientos y acciones del distrito. Estos procediemientos estan escritos el las polizas DGBA, FNG, y GF del distrito y se han cifrado para la conveniencia de los empleados, estudiantes, solicitantes y padres. Se requiere que los administradores del distrito tengan que adherir a los requisitos escritos en las polizas ya mencionadas para proporcionar una resolucion oportuna, cuidadosa, y completa de preocupaciones, quejas, y de agravios segun identificado por poliza.

6 PAR Bulletin 2- Civil Right Compliance –Harassment The El Paso Independent School District, as part of its compliance with laws and procedures as enforced by the Office for Civil Rights and Texas Education Agency requirements, has provided for students’, parents’, employees’ or applicants’, procedures that preserve the rights and responsibilities of those individuals regarding harassment incidents specified in policies DHB, DH, DIA, FFH, FNCJ, and FNCL. District administrators are required to adhere to the requirements outlined in the aforementioned policies in order to provide timely, thorough, and complete resolution of incidents involving harassment as identified by policy.

7 PAR Bulletin 2- Civil Right Compliance –Harassment El Distrito Escolar Independiente de El Paso, como parte de su cumplimiento con leyes y procediemientos llevados acabo por la Oficina de los Derechos Civiles y por los requisitios de la Agencia de la Educacion de Tejas, ha proporcionado a empleados, estudiantes, solicitantes o padres procedimientos que preservan los derechos y las responsabilidades de esos individuos con respecto a incidentes de acoso segun lo especificado en las polizas DHB, DH, DIA, FFH, FNCJ, y FNCL. Se requiere que los administradores del distrito tengan que adherir a los requisitos escritos en las polizas ya mencionadas para proporcionar una resolucion oportuna, cuidadosa, y completa de preocupaciones, quejas, y de agravios segun identificado por poliza.

8 PAR Bulletin 4- Accessibility Plans and Pathways – The Plan/Pathways The plan/pathways ensures that students, parents and or employees with disabilities have access to, and an opportunity to participate in, the general curriculum, including the schools programs and services. The plan/pathway is for the student who may enroll tomorrow. The plan is global, not individualized for a specific student.

9 PAR Bulletin 4- Accessibility Plans and Pathways – The Plan/Pathways The Plan is written for the building in its current state. The pathway should identify the path along accessible hallways, restrooms, labs, water fountains, etc. Campus will provide a copy of the plan/pathway to affected students/parents at the beginning of each year. Temporary changes to plans should be addressed with an alternate solution. The accessible pathway is NOT an evacuation (fire) plan.
