Ajectives: A quick review What do you remember?

Adjectives: A quick review An ADJECTIVE is a word that DESCRIBES a NOUN. Adjectives in Spanish normally go AFTER the word they describe. Es un hombre grande. In Spanish adjectives must MATCH the word they describe in GENDER… Ella es una chica bonita. Él es un chico simpático. And in NUMBER. Ellas son chicas bonitas. Ellos son chicos simpáticos

Ser with adjectives: You use SER with adjectives that describe inherent or essential qualities. (Things that are part of your personality or physical attributes that are the norm for you.) Even when the word being described is separated from the adjective by the verb SER, you still must match gender and number. Ellos son guapos. Ella es inteligente.

Description Using your new vocab, write a description of yourself. Must be at least 10 sentences (can include things you aren’t like “No soy gorda.”)

Tarea: Bring a photo of a family member to class tomorrow.
