2 Tarea: (bueno) La clase de matemáticas es muy buena.
Rogelio es un buen amigo. Agustina compra una buena mochila para los libros. Andrés y Guillermo son muy buenos estudiantes. (malo) Federico es antipático y una mala persona. Ahora es un mal momento para descansar. La comida de la cafetería es mala. Son unas semanas malas para viajar.

3 Tarea: ¿A qué hora vienen ustedes al estadio?
¿Vienes tú a la escuela en autobús? Nosotros tenemos una prueba de geografía mañana. ¿Por qué no viene Juan a la clase de literatura? Yo tengo dos hermanos y mi prima tiene tres. ¿Tienen ustedes fotos de sus parientes? Mis padres tienen unos amigos japoneses. Inés viene con su esposo y yo vengo con Ernesto. Marta y yo no venimos al laboratorio los sábados. ¿Cuántos nietos tienes tú? Yo tengo la clase de inglés a las once de la mañana. Mis amigos vienen a comer a la cafetería hoy.

4 Grande Remember yesterday we talked about how malo and bueno can come before or after the word they describe. Grande also can come before or after the word described. HOWEVER, unlike bueno and malo, grande changes meaning when it comes before the noun rather than after.

5 Grande Tengo un hermano grande. Tengo un gran hermano.
I have a big/large brother. Tengo un gran hermano. I have a great brother.

6 Grande Tengo una familia grande. Tengo una gran familia.
I have a big/large family. Tengo una gran familia. I have a great family.

7 Grandes Tengo grandes hermanas. I have a great sisters.

8 Grande: After a word it means: big/large Before a word it means: great
Before singular nouns it changes to gran Tengo un gran esposo. I have a great husband. Tenenemos una gran escuela. We have a great school. Before and after plural nouns it is grandes. Ustedes tienen camionetas grandes. You all have big trucks. Tengo grandes amigos. I have great friends.

You may only speak in Spanish. You may only as questions that have the answer “sí” or “no” To start: Draw a card out of the stack to figure out who you are. Then, take turns asking “sí” or “no” questions to narrow down the options and figure out who your partner’s person is. Be creative and use your vocabulary! Make sure you match the gender of your adjectives properly to be sure you are being clear!
