Explanation of Tech Competency 13 I use this slideshow at the beginning of the year as a way to introduce myself to students and begin our study on the cultures of Spanish-speaking countries. Students ask me questions about my travels and are encouraged to open up about their own cultural experiences. The song is played while I introduce my study abroad experience and is another way to incorporate culture into the lesson.
