Talking About Playing a Sport/jugar U3E2 When you talk about playing a sport, you use the verb jugar-to play. The forms of jugar are unique. In jugar the u changes to ue. JUGARto play juegojugamos juegasX juegajuegan The nosotros form is the only form that does not have a E after the U.

When you use jugar with the name of a sport, use: jugar a or al + sport Al = a +el (Masculine) becomes a contraction A=(to… the)(we dont use this in English.) I like to play the basketball. ¿Juegas al béisbol en Minneapolis? Do you play baseball in Minneapolis? Yo juego al fútbol americano en Minneapolis I play Football in Minneapolis.
