This is called el escudo. It represents the most important things in Cuba. Cuba’s national bird Cuba’s national tree.Cuba’s national flower

The food is great, and people are always eating. Some of the traditional foods are beans and rice. Others are yellow rice with some kind of meat in it. There are all kinds of desserts, and they are very delicious. After all, the food is the best thing about Cuba, and it represents it pretty well.

Schools School uniforms in Cuba are obligatory. Children from 1-4 use a blue scarf. Boys wear red shorts with a white t-shirt, and girls wear a red shirt with a white blouse. Children from 5-6 use a red scarf and the same clothing rule applies. When they get to pre-high school, which are grades 7-8, the boys wear yellow pants with a white t- shirt, and the girls wear yellow shirts with white blouses. At the end when they become teenagers and they go to high school, the boys wear blue pants with a light blue t-shirt, and the girls wear blue skirts with a light blue blouse. Grades 9-12 go to high school and stay in the high school. They live far from their houses, so in order to be there in time, they just stay there for the whole week and come back home on the weekends

It is very warm and sunny. People go to the closest beach every weekend to cool off and to have a good time with their family. There are beautiful beaches, and very pretty palm trees surround them. The sand is nice and clean and sometimes hot. The beaches are a great place to visit if you ever go to Cuba.
