Irregular Subjunctive Verbs: Verbs ending in –car, -gar, and –zar have a spell change in order to maintain the original sound. Verbs that end in –guar are similar.

-car buscar busque, busques -gar pagar pague, pagues -zar cruzar cruce, cruces -guar averiguar averigüe

Irregular Subjunctive Verbs: Verbs that end in -guer, -guir, - ger and -gir also have a spelling change in order to maintain the original sound.

-guir seguir siga, sigas -ger escoger escoja, escojas -gir corregir corrija, corrijas

Dont forget that verbs that end in -uir include a -y in their subjunctive form. Example: contribuir yo contribuyanosotroscontribuyamos túcontribuyasvosotroscontribyáis él contribuyaelloscontribuyan
