Los Comparativos In English, we use “more…than,” “less…than,” or “ …-er than” to compare things to others. Examples: Benjamin is more athletic than José. Diana is less tired than Paco. Marta is taller than Sara. Marcos and Samuel are smarter than Julio and Ramón.

Los Comparativos The Spanish is formed similarly using “más…que” or “menos…que.” The “…er” like in English does not exist!! Ejemplos: Benjamín es más deportista que José. Diana es menos cansada que Paco. Marco es más alto que Sara. Marcos y Manuel son menos inteligentes que Julio.

Noun(s) + verb* + más/menos + adjective** + que + noun(s). Los Comparativos (Regular) Noun(s) + verb* + más/menos + adjective** + que + noun(s). El inglés es más difícil que el español. Los muchachos son menos simpáticos que las muchachas. Make sure your verbs and adjectives agree with your subject!!!
