Spanish Verbs: Spanish Verbs End in: AR: Hablar (To talk) ER: Comer (to Eat) IR: Vivir (To Live)

Spanish Pronouns: Verbs change based upon who’s doing them. Yo: I Tu: You (formal) Usted: You formal El or Ella: He or She Nosotros: We Ustedes: You all Ellos or Ellas: They

Pronouns Tu is used when speaking to someone on a first name basis. Usted is used for someone you’d call “Sir” or “M’am”. Ustedes is when you are speaking to more than one person directly. Nosotros includes yourself and others.

Changing a verb Most times changing a verb is simple. Simply drop the “ar”, “er” or “ir” at the end of the verb. Then add the corresponding ending to the verb based upon the subject. Some verbs change in the “stem” or are irregular. We’ll see that later.
