El subjuntivo presente When talking about something that might or might not happen, a special tense called the subjunctive is often used. Its not just a verb tense its a MOODthrowing some emotion or opinion into the sentence. The key is to remember it as the emotional, doubtful, hopeful MOOD. Things that MAY or MAY NOT happen often opinions or wishes rather than hard facts.

las formas AR » e ER » aIR » a hable venda escriba hables vendas escribas hable venda escriba hablemos vendamos escribamos habléis vendáis escribáis hablen vendan escriban

One good clue that the subjunctive might be used is when you see the word QUE before a conjugated verb. Be careful, because regular verbs are also used after QUE, but most cases of subjunctive have QUE before them. Pay attention to the following types of MOODS:

los humores Necessity: ¡necesito que me hagas un café! I need for you to make me some coffee. Es importante que cantemos. It is important that we sing.

Emotion/wishing: ¡no quiero que vaya! I dont want him to go! ¡espero que ganen! I hope that they win!

Possibility/doubt: ¿es possible que llueva? Is it possible that it may rain? Duda que me escriba. I doubt that he will write to me.

Opinion: No creo que tengan la llave. I dont think that they are gonna have the key.

las frases Hay muchas frases que pueden significar el uso del subjuntivo.

la vacación ideal

Para concluir LA TAREA: La oja del trabajo para el subjuntivo.
