Remember that present tense can be understood 2 ways: Yo hablo español. Ella come cereal. I speak spanish. She eats cereal. I do speak spanish She does eat cereal.

The “ING” The PRESENT PROGRESSIVE can only mean one thing: What someone IS DOING right now. The “ING” I am speaking. She is eating. I am washing. She is laughing.
