What is Present Progressive? When you want to say that an action is happening now, you use the present progressive. Está lloviendo! It’s raining!

The Present Progressive When talking about what you are doing RIGHT NOW, you use the verb estar conjugated to say “I am” Then, you take a verb STEM and add either –ANDO (for – AR VERBS) or –IENDO (for –ER and –IR verbs)
