El Condicional Unit 7
¿Qué es? El condicional es otro modo. El condicional se usa como el “would” en situaciones hipotéticas. In the imperfect subjunctive, it is going to be the second part of this sentence: If (imperfect subjunctive), (conditional) Ex. If I won $1,000,000, I would buy all the cookies! ¡Si yo ganara $1,000,000, compraría todas las galletas!
El Condicional: usos específicos Como no lo vamos a practicar y aprender como un “unit,” aquí hay una lista de cuando se usa el modo condicional: To express speculation about the past. Esa noche él comería más de 10 pizzas. To express the future from the perspective of the past. Yo pratique mi portuguese porque iría a Brasil pronto. To express a hypothetical actions or events which may or may not occur. Sería muy padre poder volar un avión. To indicate what would happen if not for a specific circumstance. To express an action which is contrary to fact. Si ella hiciera las galletas, me las comería. 10. To express an invitation. ¿Te gustaría ir al cine conmigo?
El Condicional ía ías íamos ían You add this new ending to the end of the infinitive of a verb. All irregular stems in the future tense carry on into the conditional mood.
Irregulares The following verbs are irregular in the future, so they will have a different stem in the conditional: caber: cabr poder: podr poner: pondr tener: tendr decir: dir querer: querr haber: habr valer: valdr salir: saldr saber: sabr hacer: har venir: vendr
