2 How to form the conditional tense
As for the future tense, start with the FUTURE STEM. For most verbs the future stem is the INFINITIVE: jugar, bailar, comer, leer, vivir, abrir etc. Add the conditional endings.

3 These endings are the same as those that form the imperfect tense of -er and -ir verbs.

5 Verbs that are irregular in the conditional
The conditional uses the same stem as the future tense. The irregular stems are exactly the same as the future ones.
