Making predictions about the future (will) The simple future is used to convey what will happen, things that are planned, but because it is in the future, the outcome is unknown. The final result will need to be verified. Me casaré con un hombre guapo. (I will marry a handsome man.) Encontrará un trabajo bueno. (He/She will find a good job.) ¿Regresarás dentro de diez minutos? (You will come back in ten minutes?)

Noten… Note that you do not use the simple future for actions that are certain in the future. For these, you will use the present tense. Te vemos mañana a la escuela. (We’ll see you tomorrow at school.) Me caso el 6 de mayo. (I am getting married on May 6.) Mis padres me visitan mañana. (My parents are going to visit me tomorrow.)
