Los Adjetivos

As you know, adjectives in Spanish have gender and number: An adjective can be masculino or femenino caro amarillo barato rosado morado cara amarilla barata rosada morada

Adjectives can be... singular plural amarillo amarillos rosada rosadas gris verde deportista amarillos rosadas grises verdes deportistas

In English you write the adjective before the noun pink dress red skirt blue jeans

In Spanish you write the adjective after the noun vestido rosado camisa roja jeans azules Note that the adjective has to agree In gender and number with the noun

El vestido rosa (another way to say pink) Note that there are adjectives that do not take the gender. Memorize them. La falda gris La camisa verde Los jeans azules La bufanda marrón El vestido rosa (another way to say pink) El cielo celeste
