I want that skirt. I bought some shoes. What is the subject, the verb, the direct object?

3 Direct Object Pronouns
Direct object pronouns take the place of the direct object in a sentence. For example:

Instead of saying, “I want that skirt,” you can say, “I want it.” The word “it” takes the place of the word “skirt.”

us them me you him, her, it

6 Direct Object Pronouns (Spanish)
me (me) te (you) lo (him or it) la (her or it) nos (us) vos (you all inf.) los (them, you all) las (them, you all)

7 Placement of Direct Object Pronouns
Direct Object Pronouns, me, te, lo, la, nos, los and las are placed either before a conjugated verb or attached to the end of an infinitive.

8 Before the Conjugated Verb:
Cuándo compraste la falda? La compré hace cinco días.

9 Before the Conjugated Verb
Isabel, tuviste mi suéter? No, no lo tuve.

10 Before the Conjugated Verb
Compraste esos pantalones? No, no los compré.

11 Before the verb or after the infinitive:
Quisiste comprar la falda? Sí, la quise comprar. After the infinitive: Si, quise comprarla.

12 Direct Object Pronouns
When the pronoun replaces both a masculine and a feminine direct object noun, we use los. For example:

Cuándo compraste la falda y el vestido? Los compré el sábado.

14 Escriban los números 1-5:
Yo cobré el cheque en el banco. Tú no echaste la carta en el correo ayer. ¿Tuvieron la gasolina para el carro? Nosotros no compramos los sellos en el supermercado. Marta no compró las pelotas en la tienda de deportes.

Tú no LA echaste en el correo ayer. ¿LA Tuvieron para el carro? Nosotros no LOS compramos en el supermercado. Marta no LAS compró en la tienda de deportes.
