Superlatives In English, you can recognize a superlative when you see an adjective with -est as a suffix. The fastest runner, the tallest girl, and the smartest kid are all superlatives.

(el, la, los, las) + (noun) + (más, menos) + (adjective) Superlatives Here is the formula for forming a superlative in Spanish: (el, la, los, las) + (noun) + (más, menos) + (adjective)
