APUNTES: GUSTAR “Gustar” does not mean “To like” but rather “It is pleasing” to someone. The thing or person that is PLEASING gets the conjugation of GUSTAR. The person that is PLEASED goes in front of the verb (me, te, le, etc.). For emphasis, you may also add “a mí” “a ti” etc. to the beginning of a ‘gustar’ statement. Example: No me gusta la tarea. or A mí no me gusta la tarea.
